If you log both segments, you collect EGLL, OMDB and WSSS. If you only log EGLL → WSSS, OMDB does not count.

How stamps work

Every route counts.

  • Departure and arrival both count as stamps.
  • Repeat visits increase your visit count.
  • Layovers count only when the segment is logged.
  • Real stamps are gold. Simulator stamps are blue.

Founder Story

Built by someone who actually works in aviation.

Moses
Founder · AvioJot

I studied Aviation Operations at Kingston College and joined the British Airways Fantasy Wings programme, which led to a ground operations placement at Heathrow. From there I moved into working as a ramp agent at Gatwick — early mornings on stand, watching every arrival and departure roll past.

Alongside real-world aviation I've spent years flying simulators. Every logbook I found was either a strict pilot record or a spreadsheet — nothing built for sim pilots, aviation enthusiasts and people who love flying but don't hold a commercial ticket.

So I started building AvioJot: a visual aviation passport where real flights and sim flights both count, every route becomes a card, and every airport earns a stamp.

FAQ

Everything you need to know

Still have questions? Ask in the AvioJot Discord.

Yes. AvioJot is free to start. Core features such as flight logging, basic flight cards, airport stamps and your passport profile are intended to stay accessible. Premium features may be added later for extra card styles, exports, deeper stats and profile customisation.

No. AvioJot works for both simulator flights and real-world flights. It is especially useful for flight simmers, virtual pilots and aviation enthusiasts, but student pilots, plane spotters, cabin crew and frequent travellers can also use it as a personal aviation passport.

You can manually log flights from any simulator, including Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D, Infinite Flight, VATSIM or IVAO sessions. Because logging is manual, there is no plugin or desktop install required.

Create your account, choose 'Log a Flight', enter your departure and arrival airports, aircraft, flight type, date and duration, then save it. AvioJot creates the flight card and updates your passport progress from that flight.

Every flight you log can stamp your passport. Your first visit unlocks the stamp for that airport. Build progress by airport, country and continent.

Yes. AvioJot stamps both the departure and arrival airports automatically when you log a flight.

A layover counts when you log the flight segment involving that airport. Log each leg and the airports on it are stamped.

Simulator flights earn blue stamps and real flights earn gold stamps, so your passport stays honest while both count toward your aviation journey.

A flight card is a visual card generated from a logged flight. It shows your route, aircraft, date, duration and flight type, using one of AvioJot's card designs. It makes your flight history more visual than a normal list or spreadsheet.

Yes. Certain flight cards allow you to attach a photo or screenshot to the flight, making your collectible card even more personal.

Yes. AvioJot is being built around public and private passport profiles. You can choose what to show publicly and what to keep private.

No. AvioJot is web-based and mobile-first. It works in your phone or desktop browser with no simulator plugin required.

AvioJot currently works as a mobile-first web app. Native iOS and Android apps may come later, but the web version is designed to work well on phones from the start.

No. AvioJot is a personal aviation passport and memory log. It is not a replacement for an official pilot logbook or regulatory training record.

Your profile should be private by default unless you choose to share it. AvioJot does not sell user data, run invasive ads or expose private flight history without permission.

AvioJot Professional is a clean simulator logbook inspired by real aviation records. Today it offers structured entries, training notes, milestones, inferred network tracking (VATSIM / IVAO / MSFS), analytics and export/print-ready history. Deeper fields like landings, approaches and time-of-day breakdowns are planned. It is a personal simulator logbook, not an official pilot logbook or regulatory training record.

Yes. Log your network sessions as simulator flights with your callsign, aircraft and route. VATSIM, IVAO and virtual airline sectors all earn blue sim stamps and sim flight cards.

CSV import is available today from the Log page, so you can bring flights across from spreadsheets or other logbooks. SimBrief briefing import is in beta — it prefills the Log Flight sheet from your latest SimBrief plan for you to confirm and save. Direct simulator sync (MSFS, X-Plane, Volanta, VATSIM, IVAO) is planned but not live; nothing runs in the background, and logging always stays manual-first.

Yes. The AvioJot Discord is open to everyone. It is the best place to share cards, suggest features and follow what is being built next.

The core passport is free. Founder Access is planned as a one-time upgrade for early supporters, and premium features are labelled as Live, Planned or Coming Soon so you always know what exists today. There is no checkout until the features are real.

Your aviation passport is waiting.

Log your first real or simulator flight and start building your collection.
